San Antonio, TX 78265 USAA #1624290 Mr. Jennings: I am writing to express my extreme displeasure and astonishment that USAA will not renew my motorcycle coverage. It is simply not logical to me that I have been riding motorcycles since I was 12, started street riding at 18, and I HAVE NEVER HAD AN ACCIDENT ON A MOTORCYCLE.

19 November 2007Foremost Insurance Company - Policy No. 276-00sssssss In March of 2003 I purchased motorcycle insurance through Foremost with a premium of about $600 per year. In 2005 I closely reviewed the premium and noticed that under the “Accidents and Violations” heading there was 1 point for what is described as accident, injury, no info.
I contacted Foremost and told them I had never been involved in a bodily injury accident and even got a statement of history from the insurance company that supports no bodily injury accidents. No points have ever showed up on my automobile insurance premium either. I contacted Foremost again and was told that the cost of the insurance would be the same even with the point taken off. I feel as though I am getting scammed.

19 November 2007I have diligently tried to pay my Motorcycle policy payment but have met road blocks repeatedly from your so-called Customer Service reps.
I was first told by them that I could remove the Uninsured Motorist-Stacked coverages on both my motorcycles on-line. So I ended up wasting time trying to follow their instructions.
When I called CS again, I was told that I had to send in a form.
I waited more than a day for the PDF form to be emailed to me, I filled out two copies, one for each bike however there is no address in the PDF for where to send it, and no instructions in the email it came attached to.

19 November 2007Getting an online motorcycle insurance quote is very convenient, but the online motorcycle quote that you get may not be accurate. You may be in for a surprise if you don’t carefully check the information that you send in for the quote, and check the information you receive when you are given a quote.
Start with the information that you are supplying on the form. If you omit any information, or if you get any information wrong, the quote that you receive will not be accurate. You need to remember that this is just a quote. You are not applying for the insurance, and by supplying wrong information, or omitting information, you won’t be doing yourself any favors.

19 November 2007Owning a motorcycle can be a lot of fun, but when it comes time for insurance, I see many of the same people become lost as to what type of motorcycle coverage they really need. So, just what do you need to look for in a motorcycle insurance policy? Here are some quick tips to help.
Protecting Yourself And Passengers
Liability Coverage - Naturally, liability coverage is a must to help in protecting others in case you’re deemed to be at fault in a covered accident. Talk with your insurance agent about the amount of liability coverage you need.

19 November 2007Imagine you just purchased a brand new Suzuki GSX-R1000 motorcycle two months ago, and it was stolen right before your eyes as you were eating in your favorite restaurant. Not to worry, you are fully protected by the full coverage motorcycle insurance policy your motorcycle lender required you to get. Right?
In most cases, not exactly, if you look into the details of the motorcycle insurance policy you purchased. The reason is that most full coverage motorcycle insurance policies will cover for total loss such as theft, accident or natural disaster, but these policies typically only cover the depreciated market value of the motorcycle not the outstanding value of your motorcycle loan.
