My car was backed into by an 80 year old woman who cracked my headlight. She shouted and swore at me and denied that her van damaged my car. She then left without giving me her insurance. After filing a report with the police and receiving her insurance information (got her license plate number), I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Allstate insurance. The claims adjuster did not contact me when promised so I contacted the office. I was told that I needed to contact the claims adjuster myself. I asked why I wasn’t told that earlier. I was then shouted at, told that I twisted around what happened in the accident, that she was an 80 year old woman who was very soft spoken and they’ve never had problems with before. When I complained about unprofessionality, I was hung up on! Once the insurance adjuster looked at the car- they decided that the damage was caused by a rock and they aren’t paying anything. THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER!!
