I just had an accident with a lady with progressive Insurance and I only got 381.39 for the accident because it was her fault. I just had my car painted and had body work done on it. This car is a honda civic in imaculate condition, inside and out. interior and paint re done, etc. I went an got estimates and the cheapest estimate that I got was 630.00 and I will now have to pay the rest out of my pocket, when the accident was not my fault. They had a lady come buy my house to take pictures of the accident and that is how they come up with their estimate and then sent me the check 1 month later. I tried to tell them that I should not have to pay out of pocket expenses for an accident that wasn’t my fault, but it is useless trying to comunicate with them it is a waiste of time. They have the worse customer service and now im stuck paying about 300 dollars out of pocket expenses for damage to my vehicle that is not my fault. I dont know how they come up with their estimates but it is not logical, I even had the body shop fax in writing saying that their company are the cheepist price in town on body work by at least 10% and that I would not get my car done for cheaper than that and still nothing was done.
