USAA - BEST IN THE BUSINESS! - USAA Group - Auto
21 August 2008EVERYONE NEEDS INSURANCE! So, how do you choose your insurance company? If you desire to be part of an insurance company that is owned by the members and has superb customer service, you should consider USAA. I’ve been a USAA member for nearly 25 years. In this time frame, I’ve made numerous moves and had two small claims. Every time I deal with USAA, they are polite, professional, and have a great desire to serve. In this day and age of dwindling or non-existent customer service, USAA is a breath of fresh air.

21 August 2008Is USAA auto insurance the best? Think again. I’ve had USAA for 24 years because I believed they were the best - had the best rates – had the best customer satisfaction rate. I thought it was one of the unwritten benefits of being in the service. Maybe that was true in the past but it sure isn’t true this week.

21 August 2008At the beginning of August my boyfriend and I booked an oceanfront hotel room locally for a relaxing weekend. On our second day there, I decided to run home and check on my cats. Being that my house was only 15 minutes from the hotel, it would be a quick stop and would leave me with peace of mind. What I got instead was a major headache and a totaled automobile.
The beautiful, green Escort I wrote a review about a few months ago was hit by an Allstate insured driver who had run a red light. My airbags deployed, my windshield broke apart and I went into oncoming traffic.

21 August 2008In a time when good customer service seems to have disappeared, USAA seems to be a hold out in that area. Customer service seems to be a priority. I have found USAA’s representatives to be very friendly. Yet they maintain a very professional stance. They are happy to answer questions. The few times that I have had to use my car insurance I was treated with the utmost respect. Plus, my rates were never raised because of an accident. This is so refreshing in a world where many insurance companies try to take advantage of their customers. Their rates are very reasonable if not the cheapest for the industry. I have been with this company since 1976. I would be hard pressed to change companies largely because of the reasons stated above.

21 August 2008My husband and I decided to secure life insurance for my husband. I was due to have our son within 4 months and we wanted to make sure we were taken care of.
My husband is a CPA so keep this in mind as you read this review. Why does this matter?. Many insurance brokers are also CFP (Certified Financial Planners). We were not pressured into a policy based on the salesman having this information.

21 August 2008Decided to check out Geico to see what kind of quote I could get. Since I already had Progressive, I wasn’t too optomistic that Geico could beat their rates. To my surprise, they quoted me a rate on their site that was roughly $400 cheaper for a 6-month policy! This was with 2 cars and 2 drivers. So naturally I told them to go ahead and start my policy. I gave them my credit card number and authorized the charge. I got an email about 2 mins later welcoming me to Geico!

21 August 2008I had Allstate for many years and was satisfied. I switched to Geico two years ago because we were trying to cut expenses and they were cheaper. Anytime I called to ask them questions or change my policy, they were courteous and competent.

21 August 2008I have been with State Farm Insurance now for quite a few years. They handle everything for me from home to car to life. I have never had any problems with them and they have always been very pleasant to help. If I have had any questions they don’t make it sound like an inconvenience and help me to the fullest. They are well known and all over so it makes it easy to find them.

21 August 2008I picked State Farm years ago because of the name. I was young and didn’t know much! I have stayed with them because of outstanding service. My agent has always been friendly, I moved to another county and still stayed with him because of how great he has always been.

21 August 2008I leased my new car in early January. They wouldn’t give me the car at the time, unless I was completely insured. Unfortunately, at the time, it was on a Sunday, so I couldn’t get through to most of the insurance agencies I tried. I saw a commercial for Progressive on television, so I figured I’d give them a call.
