Let me first state that I am not a disgruntled ex-employee. I was employed at Coast national for three years and I left the company recently on my own because I found a better position with a reputable company.
That being said, I must warn everyone NOT to do business with Coast National. They are running on the fringes of fair practice, they have horrible customer service, they provide NO training. And it will be worse as they have just laid off 25% of their work force, mostly customer service people and data entry. This leaves their poor adjusters doing everything from filing, phones, clerical…..plus having to handle claims. I’m sure that Coast is close to folding. I had 4 managers in 2 years because of firings there. They didnt even give those poor people a chance to say their good-byes….just a box and a security guard out the door. Shoddy treatment of their employees, and shoddy treatment of their insureds.
Remember, you get what you pay for. Cheap insurance equals cheap service!
