Here is a factual presentation of my experience.
My car was damaged by hail in Missouri while I was on active duty for the army.
I filed the claim in about a day, got in touch with the commerce personnel who had to get an adjuster in MO to look at my car.
It took the adjuster about 2 weeks to call me and come out and appraise the damage.
I got a check, minus the deductible, a few days after commerce got the results from the adjuster.
Looking back, I do not have time to go in and get an estimate on my own to see if the estimate was high or low, however many soldiers had their cars beat up that day and my estimate was toward the higher end.
I recommend commerce insurance because of how they handled the claim.
