I do not have GEICO insurance, I use USAA. However, about 3 years ago I was waiting at a red light in my Jeep Cherokee and was rear-ended by a woman in a newer Lincoln Continental. She was only doing about 5-10 miles per hour when she hit me, but it was enough to bend down the rear bumper on my Jeep and REALLY make me mad.
A few days after the accident, a representative from GEICO came out to my house and looked over my Jeep. He made an estimate, and a couple of days later I got a check for around $500 to fix the bumper.
I was very impressed with how quickly they responded and their very friendly representative. I have a very good deal with USAA, but if anything every caused me to have to change, I would definitely consider GEICO Direct.
