I’ve dealt with USAA the entire time I’ve had car insurance. They are extremely helpful with any problems or questions I have. Claims are quick and easy to process. Although I haven’t done extensive price shopping because of their superior customer service, they seem to be very competitive with their rates. USAA even sends back money at the end of the year if there were less claims than expected.
The one drawback of USAA is they don’t have local offices throughout the US. That, however, hasn’t ever been a problem because they are always helpful and available over the phone. Every time I have called USAA I’ve been talking to an actual person within a couple minutes. The internet site is somewhat hard to use but that is caused by the security measures in place.
