I quit Allstate because I was tired of paying for the new gold trimmed Mercedes my agent decided to get although she could barely give me the time of day. My agent seemed to have better things to do even when I came in to make a payment.
When my daughter was in an accident, (I was a passenger) the agent did not even try to fight for her. Just because my daughter was a teenager, the agent just let things go and raised my daughter’s rates.
So between the above and the rates going up on a regular basis, I switched to Farmers, and have been happy with Farmers since then. (Farmers even replaced four seat belts when my dog chewed them). Do not use Allstate, go to Farmers.
