My parents have had Allstate insurance for 15 years now. When I turned sixteen I started paying for my share of being on their policy and since I’ve owned my own car I have paid the insurance on that also. Maybe I’m just lucky but I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with Allstate.
When I received my license my mom took me in to meet our agent. He talked to me for almost an hour, explaining how insurance works and things like: what would happen if I let someone drive my car and they had an accident or if I drove someone else’s car and had an accident. And he gave me his phone number incase I ever had any questions or needed help. I’ve only ever "needed" to call him twice. Once when my car stereo was stolen and once when I had an accident (and ended up totaling my car). In both cases the service I received was speedy and friendly. I’m also a worry wart and who ever I talk to on the phone is always patient with my questions and concerns.
Yes, what I pay right now for insurance is low because I get to share in my parents discounts. On my parents policy with Allstate they have four vehicles, a boat, their home, and life insurance. After this year I will have to have my own policy. And even if I find another insurance group that offers lower prices, I’m sure I won’t find one with the same quality service. I give Allstate two thumbs up and plan to stick with them through thick and thin.
