I have been an American Family customer for 9 years now and have had nothing but outstanding service. Recently, I bought my first "NEW" car and was left with the decision of which insurance company I should go with. I was in the market for the cheapest insurance that covered all of my needs. I wanted the combination of service and competitive pricing in one package.
I had been in two minor collisions as a teenager and American family was prompt with their claims service and always willing to help. Needless to say, my first choice for the service aspect was American Family. I had received quotes from 6 other companies such as Geico, Progressive, 21st Century, and so on. What I came to find was that although American Family was marginally more expensive than these other companies, their dedication to customer service made up for the extra couple of bucks.
You don’t have to call an 800 number to talk to some unknown representative; you can call your agent directly. Not only that, but when I brought it to the attention of my agent that American Family’s price was a bit more expensive, he did all he could to reduce that price as much as possible. Not only did I end up with insurance that was competitively priced, my package also included Renter’s Insurance which the other companies packages did not.
As for price and customer service, you can’t beat American Family. I would highly recommend them to any new car buyer, or for that fact, anyone in the insurance market.
