LBL is part of the allstate group. It is hard to sometimes rate these companies, because some are their products are very good, and others show room for improvement. Over the years my experience in working with LBL has been fairly good. I will recommend their products because they have products that fit the need for the person or place. They have very low cost term products, and unique term products as well. LBL carries a term product that actually build cash value-interesting, may be very valuable to a business, or the younger age groups not looking to pay a lot for insurance. However some of their Universal Life products can get very costly, and may not build high policy values. Be careful that you are getting the right product to fit your needs when talking with a LBL agent. If you are looking to recieve a quote on life insurance check with some other companies as well, just to compare. As for LBL annuities, you can do better! LBL has an A++ rating from A.M. Best.
