As a consumer and also as a person who works in the collision repair industry I have to say that Progressive Insurance Co. ranks at the top of my list of insurance companies to stay away from. Their rates may be a
little lower than those of some of the larger insurance companies but, if God forbid you are ever in an accident your car may not be repaired with genuine parts that are originally on your car. Some of the Progressive representatives that they send to write your initial estimate have never even worked in the collision repair industry, Progressive sends them to a couple of classes and sends them out to write the estimate that ultimately decides the way your vehicle will be repaired. I don’t know about you but that disturbs me. Do your homework and don’t be sucked in by good commercials.
