I just got a quote online from Progressive which was double that quoted by Allstate or State Farm, not exactly the cheapest companies. The web site didn’t have sufficient fields for my car types and kept adding an extra resident at my home. Whatever I tried I couldn’t get the data exactly right so I felt I should call in.

I phoned in to ask if I had entered some data wrongly. They offered no help with data entry and I was bluntly told that if I didn’t like their rates I should go somewhere else, which I will.
