I am a military wife and all I can say is it is a tough job. We are promised benefits and they are usually free for a while or they are taken away. I can say that with USAA they promise us low insurance rates and they keep there promise.
USAA used to be for officers or their families only, but times have changed. They are for enlisted members too. I am glad they made this change because I think it is only fair if you are going to be for military only you are for the whole military not just higher ranking authorities.
USAA has great insurance rates. We have the highest insurance coverage and compared to what we were paying with Geico our rates are more than 50% less. USAA offers two ways on paying for their insurance. You can pay once a month for 4 months or once a month for 6 months. If you chose to pay for 4 months than you get 2 months off and avoid the $3.00 monthly charge paying if you chose to pay monthly for 6 months.
Just recently we purchased a new van and I called to notify USAA. Their phones were answered promptly and their customer service was very helpful.We have been members for over a year and we will continue to stay with them. USAA is one benefit military families are offered and lasts. USAA offers other great benefits from low interest rate credit cards, banking accounts, and other insurances such as life and renters insurance. Just call 1-800-531-8111 and get a quote. I feel you will find the trust and prices you just can not beat.
