I was with Progressive for about 7 years. I then bought sold my vehicle and got another one. I got my new policy for $88 a month. I then left the state for a couple months for a contract job. My progressive monthly statment was not forwarded to me right away so my payment was a few days late. Progressive dropped me! I called them and talked to customer service several times. I was finally reinstated. Of course for $120 a month, and the coverage was worse. This made no sense to me. So I found a much better insurance company for much less money and better coverage. I cancelled my progressive policy the next day. Then Progressive has the nerve to charge me a $50 cancellation fee. I talked to customer service and pleaded my case. They again gave me some technicality that made no sense and said that they would not drop the fee.
In conclusion, Progressive is a non customer service company that is out there to collect money and not give anything for it. If you want an insurance company that does not take care of its clients then progressive is the one for you.
