I have been with state farm for over 15 years and never claimed an auto accident. But recently my home was damaged by hail. Contracts prices have been around 3500 to $4000. State Farm willing to pay 1,200. So, here I go with State Farm. If independent contractors are submitting quotes for 3,500 to 4,000 what would you imagine market value would be? How is it State Farm comes up with 1,200? Beyond me. Oh, next door both of them recieve over 4000, one 6000 for his roof.
Another episode with my girlfreind who was driving my car was pulling into an angled parking spot to her right. Oncoming traffic would be on her left. She was pulling into a parking spot on the right, when someone passed her on the right!! State Farm — 40%/60% fault and 7 months later through arbitration I get my check from them. (for a fraction of what it cost me to fix the car. it was brand new.)
