In the past few years State Farm HAS CHANGED its marketing concepts. It was forced to do so to compete with the companies that sell insurance via telephone; no agents or brick regional offices and no drive-through claim offices.
One of the changes was to the agent”s contracts since agent”s commissions are one of the expenses the telemarketing companies don’t have. Some of the existing agents rebelled and formed an informal group to sabotage State Farm efforts even to the extent of ‘cutting their noses off to spite their face’. One of the comments posted about State Farm could be from this group.
Its true State Farm has had many days in court. All leading companies are targets in our suite happy society. Some of the suites were valid; many just filed by self-serving trial lawyers looking to win a big one in legal lotto.
