San Antonio, TX 78265 USAA #1624290 Mr. Jennings: I am writing to express my extreme displeasure and astonishment that USAA will not renew my motorcycle coverage. It is simply not logical to me that I have been riding motorcycles since I was 12, started street riding at 18, and I HAVE NEVER HAD AN ACCIDENT ON A MOTORCYCLE.

Geico Motorcycle Insurance

19 November 2007

I have diligently tried to pay my Motorcycle policy payment but have met road blocks repeatedly from your so-called Customer Service reps.

I was first told by them that I could remove the Uninsured Motorist-Stacked coverages on both my motorcycles on-line. So I ended up wasting time trying to follow their instructions.

When I called CS again, I was told that I had to send in a form.

I waited more than a day for the PDF form to be emailed to me, I filled out two copies, one for each bike however there is no address in the PDF for where to send it, and no instructions in the email it came attached to.

Protecting Yourself With Motorcycle GAP Insurance

19 November 2007

Imagine you just purchased a brand new Suzuki GSX-R1000 motorcycle two months ago, and it was stolen right before your eyes as you were eating in your favorite restaurant. Not to worry, you are fully protected by the full coverage motorcycle insurance policy your motorcycle lender required you to get. Right?

In most cases, not exactly, if you look into the details of the motorcycle insurance policy you purchased. The reason is that most full coverage motorcycle insurance policies will cover for total loss such as theft, accident or natural disaster, but these policies typically only cover the depreciated market value of the motorcycle not the outstanding value of your motorcycle loan.

How to Customise Your Motorcycle Insurance

19 November 2007

Everyone wants the best insurance premium! So how do you go about getting it? Because motorcycle insurance has always been a high-risk, premiums are calculated differently to that of a car. Knowing these factors can help you customise your insurance.

Lets take a look at a few of the factors that influence your premiums…

The Age of the Rider!

How long the owner has operated a motorbike is a major factor! First-time bikers will be charged higher premiums despite their age. To save money on coverage, it is advisable to take a motorcycle driving class through a legitimate track school. Find out more though your local bike shops!

Lowering Your Motorcycle Insurance Costs

19 November 2007

Ideally, the way to get a good deal on your motorcycle insurance is to make sure that you know what the cost of insuring a motorcycle is before you buy it. By being aware of the ongoing costs, the buyer can make informed choices about what the purchase is going to cost in real terms and how other alternative compare. I am not saying that we should all be extremely sensible and buy a 50cc scooter when what we really want is a big bore sports motorcycle, but some insurance costs can be avoided without sacrificing too much performance.

What Comprises a Motorcycle Insurance Quote?

19 November 2007

A motorcycle insurance quote is based on the type of insurance coverage a motorcyclist requires. The most basic element of an insurance quote for motorbikes is the liability coverage which includes coverage for bodily injury per person, bodily injury per accident and property damage coverage per accident. It is always a good idea to obtain more extensive liability insurance than what the law requires because drivers can sue other drivers who injure them in accidents and minimum liability insurance does not cover this risk.
