AWESOME! - State Farm Group - Auto
29 October 2008Maybe I’m lucky or something, I dunno, but State Farm has really come through for me in the past two years. I have been in two accidents, one minor and one major (both my fault) and had a speeding ticket and not only did State Farm *not* drop me, my rates barely went up. I had a string of bad luck there for a while and I fully expected to get dropped and have to get high risk insurance. But State Farm really came through. The second accident totaled my truck and State Farm cut me a check within 10 days for way more than it was worth!!! What else can I say about the company? My agent was very responsive from the moment I phoned in the accident. He even gave me some advice on how to handle traffic court.

13 August 2008My twenty year old daughter has just purchased her first car. I was very proud of the fact that she was shopping for a reasonable car, and she enlisted the help of my father. Since he was going to co-sign for her, it was important that he approve what she was purchasing.
They finally settled on a 1998 Ford Escort Sport, but she was also looking at a 1997 Ford Probe. We knew that the insurance on the Probe would be higher than the Escort since it was classed as a sports car.

26 July 2008I’m one of those “reformed” bad drivers. All through college I danced on the edge of losing my license. In my youth, they got me for racing, reckless driving, speeding, going the wrong way on a one-way street, and probably a lot more. I wasn’t as insane a driver as that sounds. I was just young and careless. Back then, I was paying over $300 a month for minimum coverage, and could barely afford to pay my bills. Geico wouldn’t even talk to me because of my driving record. Remember, they’re the “good driver” insurance.
