I had seen a lot of commercials about Progressive and how you could get online quotes and decided I might as well go for it, since it was supposedly so easy to get a quote and etc.

21 August 2008As a higher risk driver (22 year old single male, no tickets or accidents), I got quotes from many insurance companies. Progressive was definately the least expensive. The 24 hour customer service was definately a plus in deciding to go with progressive. I like knowing that I can talk to someone regarding my policy whenever I want instead of having to wait to go to an agent between regular business hours.

21 August 2008I picked State Farm years ago because of the name. I was young and didn’t know much! I have stayed with them because of outstanding service. My agent has always been friendly, I moved to another county and still stayed with him because of how great he has always been.

21 August 2008EVERYONE NEEDS INSURANCE! So, how do you choose your insurance company? If you desire to be part of an insurance company that is owned by the members and has superb customer service, you should consider USAA. I’ve been a USAA member for nearly 25 years. In this time frame, I’ve made numerous moves and had two small claims. Every time I deal with USAA, they are polite, professional, and have a great desire to serve. In this day and age of dwindling or non-existent customer service, USAA is a breath of fresh air.

20 August 2008I have been with American Family since 1987(when I got my driver’s license). I have had some problems(car accidents, car robbery and speeding tickets).
With the car accident, I had loaned the car to my boyfriend at the time and he got into an accident. American Family was fair with me and even went after his insurance company to fix my car. They were easy to get a hold of and easy to work with.
When my car got broken into, I had no problems getting my car fixed. They sent me to a body shop that gave me a car to use.

20 August 2008I also had to get Reliance when I got my new car. I thought that their rates were reasonable. Well, last year I was in a car accident. A semi-truck backed into my car while I was at a stop sign. Most of the front end needed repair. It took Reliance two weeks to get an insurance adjuster to look at my car, then they wanted to use Japanese parts that didn’t fit quite right because they were cheaper. The Japanese hood would have left an inch between the front side panels, and it wouldn’t completely cover my engine. The dealership that I went to had to give Reliance actual Ford parts for less than the Japanese parts or Reliance wouldn’t go for it. Two months later they finally agreed and I got my car back. Not only were they unprofessional with the dealership, they were horribly rude when I spoke with them. And I also get a notice of cancellation every month two weeks before my bill is due. I would never recommend this company to anyone, I’d rather pay more than have to put up with such idiotness. I never thought that an insurance company could be such a pain. I have also many times called and e-mailed, Reliance with no reply or apology for making it so difficult to have insurance.

20 August 2008Last spring we had a line of severe thunderstorms move through our area. They dropped large hail, heavy rain and produced dangerous lightning and high winds. Our home was damaged by the large hail. It did much damage to our roof, siding and gutters as well as our vehicles.
State Farm was prompt in the handling of our claim, even though I’m sure they had several thousand claims in our area to handle. The adjuster who came out to our house to inspect the damage was friendly and complete.

20 August 2008Well for starters, I do not have Progressive Insurance, but a couple of my friends do and so did the person that I got in a wreck with.
So I do not have Progressive, that is only because of the things that my friends had told me about them. First of all, they will drop you for the first ticket for a moving violation that you recieve. Especially, a speeding ticket. If you get into any wreck that goes on your record or if the other driver tries to get money out of them, they will drop you too. So unless you have a perfect record and your a perfect driver don’t even think of considering this insurance company.
