22 July 2008Being a military family doesn’t come with many advantages. The unset schedule, the moving, and the pay are just some of the many disadvantages to this lifestyle. But I have to admit, this auto insurance is a great plus to those in the military. It is unfortunate that it is not available to those not affiliated to the military because it is a wonderful company.

21 July 2008I looked at a lot of other opinions here before I decided to write one. It looked like most of them were a little on the negative side. I have had Sate Farm for about 13 years. They have never done me wrong!
I found that my agent, Darrean Dunn of Lansing, MI is top notch! Darrean is always available and even gives out his home number, because "crises don’t just happen during office hours."
Sate Farm has been very responsive and helpful when accidents occurred whether my family or I were involved or not.

13 July 2008I picked American Family Insurance because my sister in law recommened this agent to me for our new home owners insurance and all the others I will get to.
So I called the agent to see him and would like to discuss what I needed and what I didn’t need. It was very easy to get an appointment. And I was in a hurry to get the insurance I needed for our new house.
Me and my husband went in and found our agent to be very helpful. (Some of you may be thinking yeah because he wants your money) LOL!!

17 June 2008I’ve been insured under Geico for almost a year now and am quite satisfied right now. The experience was pleasant from the very beginning. The operator was VERY friendly and informative. I had questions on exactly what the individual coverages were for. She answered my questions quickly and concisely. In other words, no uhs and umms, or "Hold on while I check with my supervisor." My only regret is that I didn’t get her name so that I could speak with her whenever I need to call customer service or refer friends. They don’t advertise to be the absolute cheapest around but they were for me. They were about $200/yr. cheaper than any of the other insurances I called. I’m insuring a ‘99 VW Beetle. It doesn’t seem like a whole lot of reviewers so far have had much experience with claims. I’ve had two vandalism claims in which my car was scratched. Geico handled them quickly and forked over a check to me within a week. The first time they handed me a check right away after the adjustor looked at it. The second time it was mailed to me. I did have the $250 deductible but that’s expected. My rates were not raised because it wasn’t my fault. Overall, my experience has been very good and I will probably stay with them for quite awhile.

14 June 2008I am a military wife and all I can say is it is a tough job. We are promised benefits and they are usually free for a while or they are taken away. I can say that with USAA they promise us low insurance rates and they keep there promise.
USAA used to be for officers or their families only, but times have changed. They are for enlisted members too. I am glad they made this change because I think it is only fair if you are going to be for military only you are for the whole military not just higher ranking authorities.

7 June 2008When my husband and I got married and bought our first house, we compared pricing and services on homeowner’s insurance, and ended up with AAA. Their price was not the lowest, but they were very easy to work with, offered the types of coverages and options we wanted, and the agent spent a lot of time with us, as new homeowners, explaining all the different bits and pieces of homeowner insurance. We were very pleased with our agent.
You must be a AAA member to get their homeowners’ insurance. Even with this extra expense, the rate was comparable to other agencies, plus we get the benefits of AAA membership.

5 June 2008I am a current very satisfied Geico customer. I very much like their auto insurance. I highly recommend anyone use their insurance company for their needs. Their prices, in my experience, is the best.
It is not my way to endorse someone because of cute commercials, and I didn’t choose them because of the lizard. I price shopped to find the best bang for the buck. Not just the cheapest insurance but comparing the SAME coverages with other companies. The other companies didn’t hold a candle to them.

1 June 2008At last, a very respectful company that offer great programs. If you ever had the delemia of auto insurance this is a great company. I have 3 vehicles with 3 authorized driver and I only pay around $600.00 every 6 months. I called Geico and the wanted $1200.00 every 6 months. OK-SHOCK! I couldn’t believe it.
The only down side is that only active, retired or reservist can use it, too bad for all the other but I think its a great offer for our great military personnel.
They also offer renters, homeowners, boat, and a lot more insurances. Even health.

25 May 2008Living in South Florida and dealing with insurance companies is not a great partnership. Considering the amount of Hurricanes we have been hit with in the last year it’s a wonder we have any insurance companies left down here. Well, after last hurricane season, I really don’t know what we are going to do. WE are a month and a half away from another season, and the blue tarped roofs are still up. We are not even close to getting this state back in order.
