19 November 2008When I lived at home and got my drivers license, my dad put me on his Nationwide Insurance. At 18, I was only paying $62 a month for insurance, which is pretty good for a new driver.
Now, that I have been out on my own for 7 years, I am still with Nationwide, on my own policy.
Nationwide, is by far, one of the best insurance companies out there and I have never ever had a problem with them. Even when I had a friend of mine driving my car and he wrecked it, my insurance did not go up and they didn’t cancel me because of the accident.

11 November 2008I used Nationwide Insurance for my Home Owners and Auto Owners Insurance.
I recently changed to another carrier for the simple fact that Nationwide is a lot more expensive and the service was so much slower. When I would call them they would have to call me back in order to answer any question I may have had.
I love to call the office and have my question answered and I also like for the office to send me a reminder notice in case I am running late on paying my bill. Sometimes I overlook this bill as its not a monthly payment and the friendly reminder is a wonderful thing to have so that I won’t have a lapse in my coverage.

13 August 2008My twenty year old daughter has just purchased her first car. I was very proud of the fact that she was shopping for a reasonable car, and she enlisted the help of my father. Since he was going to co-sign for her, it was important that he approve what she was purchasing.
They finally settled on a 1998 Ford Escort Sport, but she was also looking at a 1997 Ford Probe. We knew that the insurance on the Probe would be higher than the Escort since it was classed as a sports car.

Ok, Ok, I’ll admit. I should have shopped around before purchasing car insurance. But I was in a hurry. The car lot was closing soon, and I had no ride home. The car lot had recomended Nationwide Insurance Co., and since they hooked me up with a good deal on my Buick, I went ahead and trusted them. Besides, all I needed was liability insurance, how bad could it be?
When I called them up to start a new insurance policy, I just about went into shock when they told me how much it would cost- $211.08 a month! For liability! Now, my driving record is far from clean, but since my last ticket or driving incident, I’ve joined the military and setteled down a bit (If I get in an accident, I’ve got my chain of command to deal with). But still, two hundred eleven dollars?! And when I asked if they could possibly give me a cheaper rate, the insurance company representative on the phone started giving me an attitude! (”I’ll hang up and you can try to find a better rate somewhere else… No, I can do that… Are you sure?” - his exact words) That should have been my que to hold off on buying the car, and shop around for insurance. But, like I said, I was in a hurry.
7 year relationship - Nationwide - Auto
15 July 2008I am on my 7th year with the relationship I have with my Nationwide insurance provider and I couldn’t be happier. I have both of my cars and my house insured with Nationwide have received the best rates of anyone I compare against. My insurance agents also give me the personal touch that most companies do not provide. They see me in public and speak remembering my name and when I walk into the office, which is very rare, they always know who I am and carry on intelligent conversation…more than just nice weather talk. They also have perks that other insurance companies do not have. The one big perk I like is that after 5 years with them, without an accident, you get a free accident. This means that if you have an accident, it will not effect your insurance rates. That is so awesome and such a powerful pull for me to continue my business with Nationwide. I also love the automatic monthly deductiosn instead of dealing writing checks or having to pay my insurance quarterly. Overall, I give them total thumbs up!!!!

I sent out a blanket request for auto insurance on the internet. Nationwide came back with the lowest premium by far. Other insurance companies did not even give me a quote, they required a phone call.
I contacted the Nationwide customer service department. They answered the phone promptly and professionally. They answered my questions, without making me feel stupid.
I played around with the deductibles and coverages to come up with a policy that I was more comfortable with and the Customer Service Representative was always attentive and courteous.

24 June 2008I can not begin to count the number of insurance companies listed on Epinions. As a consumer you have to find the company that fits your needs. I recommend Nationwide Insurance Company. Not only will they insure your auto but they will also offer you home, tenants, condo and life insurance policies. Their price is fair and they have many agents throughout the country. How many of you have had a policy cancelled or set up for non renewal because your 16 year old just received their license. Call Nationwide, they love to insure youthful drivers.

23 June 2008I have had GEICO car insurance now for 4 years since moving to Palm Beach County, Florida. I own 2 cars, one is a 1992 pickup and the other is a 1989 4 door economy car. Used to have Nationwide car insurance and when I moved to Palm Beach County the rates jumped by $250.00 for both automobiles. So, I looked and shopped around for other car insurance companies and came across GEICO. Not only did I get the same coverage from GEICO car insurance that I got from Nationwide insurance, but with all the safety feature discounts and all from GEICO I saved a bundle. They make the sign up process for their car insurance over the phone which makes it easy and fast. So, no waiting at an insurance agency if it is busy. You can apply for insurance anytime during the day which is helpful for most people on schedules with work and all. I found GEICO to be much cheaper for the same coverage than the larger insurance companies are and when you call them asking questions you are able to get them answered faster as well.
